吉米老师前言：夏天来了, 又到了海边撒野，洗海澡解暑的时候。那么 英文on the beach 和 at the beach两个到底有什么区别呢？

周末去海边go to the seaside不准确
去海边玩，一般是在沙滩上吹吹海风，在海里游游泳。seaside表面上是海边的意思，但具体指海边的城镇；
seaside tour=沿海城市旅游（也可以是海岛游）
去海边=go to the beach
If you want to relax, then I recommend you to go to the beach.
如果你想放松一下，那我建议你去海边玩。

在沙滩上玩耍≠play on the beach
on the beach=在沙滩上(具体的位置就在沙滩上)
at the beach=在海边的范围 (包括海水和沙滩)

play比较适合小孩子，成人说play together,有可能被误会哦

晒太阳怎么表达？
bask in the sun=(坐着或者躺着）享受晒太阳
我躺在沙滩上晒太阳
I'm basking in the sun on the beach
catch the sun=（不情愿的）晒太阳
淋雨也可以用catch这个单词，catch the rain

晒黑了千万不能用black
用颜色形容皮肤，会被外国人认为有种族歧视。
tanned=晒黑（小麦色）
Where have you been over the summer? You look tanned.
你一夏天去哪了？看起来晒黑了。
tanned skin=小麦肤色
tanning是动词，把皮肤晒黑
I spent most of the timetanning at the beach.
